AI Engineer

Do you want to build advanced AI agents that solve real business problems, not just prototypes? Are you excited by combining software engineering and AI into production-ready solutions?

As we grow our Data & AI practice in Finland, we are looking for AI Engineers to strengthen our technical capabilities and help deliver innovative solutions for our clients. Building on our successful project delivery, we are expanding our team and welcome applications from both early-career and experienced professionals.

You will join a global Data, Analytics & AI community helping leading organizations turn data into business value through data strategy, engineering, advanced analytics, AI, and intelligent automation.

About the role:

You thrive at the intersection of software engineering, business, and AI. You enjoy building modern applications and turning emerging technologies into production-ready solutions that create business value. You are equally comfortable understanding client needs and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

In this role, you will, for example:

• Build, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications, AI agents, and cloud-native solutions

• Design scalable architectures and integrate applications across frontend, backend, cloud, and enterprise environments

• Develop intelligent software solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, MCP, and agentic AI capabilities

• Work directly with clients to understand business challenges and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Identify and help shape opportunities where AI can create measurable business value for clients

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver end-to-end solutions from concept to production

• Present technical solutions and recommendations to both technical and business stakeholders

The exact focus and responsibilities of the role will be tailored to your experience level and interests.

We are looking for:

• Background in software engineering through professional experience, studies, and/or personal projects, with experience or a strong interest in building software solutions

• Experience in working across frontend, backend, and cloud environments

• Experience in designing, integrating, and consuming APIs

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) and infrastructure-as-code concepts

• Exposure to Generative AI, LLM-based applications, or related AI technologies

• Curiosity and a desire to continuously learn and experiment

• Fluent communication skills in English (written and spoken), preferably also in Finnish and/or Swedish

Nice-to-have qualifications include:

• Hands-on experience with LLMs, reasoning models, AI agents, RAG, and agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph

• Experience in building reliable AI agent workflows, including tool use, function calling, validation, and human-in-the-loop processes

• Understanding of AI evaluation, observability, monitoring, and tracing

• Knowledge of AI governance, security, guardrails, and responsible AI practices

• Experience working with clients and stakeholders, ideally in a consulting environment

What we offer you:

• Steep learning curve & interesting projects: We combine deep technology expertise with strong functional and industry knowledge. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge GenAI technologies and modern cloud platforms, helping clients solve complex business challenges. From designing AI agents to integrating LLM-powered capabilities into enterprise solutions, you will turn emerging technologies into measurable business value.

• Personal & professional growth: We invest in our people. We support the development of your personal competencies and long-term career progression through regular development discussions, formal training, and hands-on project work.

• Flexible work culture: We have a people-oriented culture where your work-life balance is supported with flexible working hours and hybrid working possibilities. Our office located in the center of Helsinki provides a modern and comfortable working space when you work on-site.

• Competitive compensation & benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package, including a performance-based bonus, coupled with a wide range of benefits.

• Great team spirit: We focus on teaming also outside of project work through a variety of after-work activities and events together with your colleagues. We look forward to welcoming you to our collaborative and supportive team.
