About
Global B2B technology company developing sportsbook software and data solutions for online sports platforms. With a focus on innovation and operational performance, works with gaming partners to deliver scalable technology across international markets.
The Role
We are looking for an AI Automation Engineer to join our R&D team and help turn emerging AI capabilities into practical, production-ready solutions.
You'll design, build and deploy AI-driven automation that improves workflows and supports business operations. Working with generative AI, conversational AI and agent-based workflows, you'll take ideas from initial concept through implementation, integration and ongoing optimisation.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys building real applications with AI rather than focusing solely on research or experimentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and deploy AI-driven automation solutions.
- Develop and operate AI-powered applications, including chatbots, assistants and agents.
- Build new capabilities and workflows for AI agents.
- Integrate AI models and services into existing systems using APIs and cloud technologies.
- Identify automation opportunities with technical and business stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into working, end-to-end technical solutions.
- Monitor, evaluate and improve the performance and reliability of AI applications.
- Continuously explore emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to apply them.
What We're Looking For
- Strong programming experience in JavaScript, TypeScript and/or Python.
- Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI.
- Experience using model APIs, prompt engineering and building applications on top of AI models.
- Practical experience developing and deploying conversational AI solutions, such as chatbots, assistants or voicebots.
- Experience building workflow automation or AI-powered applications.
- Strong knowledge of APIs, REST services and system integrations.
- Experience with a major cloud platform, such as Google Cloud Platform or an equivalent.
- The ability to turn ambiguous requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Good written and spoken English.
Desirable Experience
- Workflow orchestration and automation tools.
- DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- A strong interest in emerging AI developments and agentic systems.
Package
- An international and multicultural working environment.
- Hybrid working in Sofia.
- Flexible working hours.
- Up to 24 days of paid annual leave.
- Food vouchers and additional health insurance.
- Sports card and office perks.
- Career development opportunities and team-building activities.
