AdOps AI Automation Specialist

Your Story:

You're the person who can't do the same task twice without thinking "there has to be a way to automate this." You use AI tools every day, not just for chatting, but to actually build stuff. You've made your own GPTs, Claude projects, bots, or automations just because you wanted to see if you could. Now you want to do it for real, at a company that's all in on AI. If that sounds like you, keep reading.

Who We Are:

EX.CO is the video technology fueling growth for media leaders worldwide. Since we launched, our mission has been to shape the future of media technology, powering publishers' business success in a rapidly changing reality. Today, we partner with leading media companies, including USA Today, Hearst Newspapers, Motorsport Network, The Arena Group (Parade, The Street), and Ziff Davis (Mashable), to maximize revenue across every screen: web, mobile apps, CTV, and DOOH. Our technology combines an online video platform with a machine learning-based yield engine, giving media owners the control, scale, and transparency they need to thrive.

What drives us is simple: we're stronger together, always evolving, and radically transparent. Collaboration fuels our best work, innovation keeps us ahead, and honesty builds lasting trust with our colleagues, partners, and customers. We are proudly backed by The Walt Disney Company, Saban Ventures, Viola Group, 83North, and others.

Now we're growing our team, and that's where you come in. We're building a place where talented people make an impact, ideas spark change, and everyone has a seat at the table.

What You'll Do:

• As part of the AdOps team, you’ll learn our day-to-day work from the inside out: the routines, the repetitive tasks, and the pain points. You’ll map these processes, streamline them with AI and automation, and build tools that help the team work faster and smarter.
• Map our daily workflows (reporting, QA, ticket triage, publisher monitoring) and find what can be automated
• Build automations and internal tools using AI assistants, Claude skills and agents, n8n/Zapier/Make, and Google Apps Script
• Create and grow a skill library the whole team can use
• Document every workflow you build and train the team to use it
• Own the evaluation and integration of new AI tools, prioritizing those with clear operational value.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Hands-on, daily use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini), with advanced prompting that goes way beyond simple chat
• A portfolio of things you've built: an automation, a GPT/Gem/Claude project, a script, a bot. Show us!
• Curious, self-driven, and happy to learn new tools on your own
• Clear communicator who can explain what you built to people who aren't technical

Advantage:

• Hands-on experience in AdOps or ad tech. Familiarity with GAM, programmatic demand, or video ads is a big plus.
• AdTech knowledge (GAM, programmatic, SSPs)
• Experience with MCPs, AI agents, or Claude Code/Cowork
