Solution Sales Specialist, Cloud & AI Platforms

We are seeking an experienced and customer-centric Solution Sales Specialist, Cloud & AI Platforms, to drive digital transformation and strategic growth across the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industry. This role is responsible for helping enterprise customers modernize their application, data, analytics, and AI landscapes while accelerating innovation through Microsoft Cloud and AI technologies.

As a trusted advisor, you will engage C-level executives, business stakeholders, and technical decision makers to articulate the business value of cloud adoption, data modernization, advanced analytics, Generative AI, and intelligent applications. You will lead complex sales motions, shape industry transformation strategies, and orchestrate virtual teams spanning solution engineering, customer success, partners, and product groups to deliver measurable business outcomes.

We are looking for a combination of enterprise sales experience and a deep understanding of life sciences business processes, regulatory requirements, and the evolving role of AI in accelerating research, development, manufacturing, and commercial operations.

• Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field AND extensive technology-related sales, solution sales, consulting, or business development experience.
  • Experience managing complex enterprise customers and leading large, strategic sales opportunities.
  • Experience selling cloud, data, analytics, AI, or enterprise platform solutions to business and technology decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to communicate business value and complex technical solutions to executive-level stakeholders.

  Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or broader Life Sciences organizations and understanding of Life Sciences business processes, including research and development (R&D), clinical development, manufacturing, quality, regulatory affairs, or commercial operations.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives in regulated environments and familiarity with regulated industry requirements and frameworks, including GxP, FDA, EMA, and related compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, cloud platforms, enterprise data architectures, analytics, AI/ML, Generative AI, modern application platforms, and SAP modernization strategies.

Solution Area Specialists IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Switzerland is CHF 167,100.00 - CHF 277,600.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
