Senior Software Engineer - AI Platform

As a Senior AI Software Engineer, you will design, build, and operate the shared services, including agent and MCP infrastructure, evaluation pipelines, and AI observability, that power every AI-powered feature at SentinelOne. You will join at the ground floor of this new AI Platform team, whose mission is to accelerate AI feature delivery across the company while ensuring every AI feature meets our security, cost, and quality standards, working at the intersection of large-scale backend engineering and the fastest-moving area of the industry. Your code will directly shape how AI is built at a leading cybersecurity company.

What Will You Do?

Primary responsibilities include:

• Design, build, and operate services of the AI Platform, such as evaluation pipelines, agent and MCP infrastructure, and observability tooling.
• Lead small-to-medium features from technical design through completion, working independently within a clear roadmap.
• Ensure the platform is reliable at scale, including testing, monitoring, on-call participation, and postmortems with root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with product and feature teams adopting the platform, at times building customer-facing AI features alongside them, and turn their needs and pain points into platform improvements.
• Share knowledge across the team through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring less experienced colleagues.

What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?

Ideal candidates will have:

• 5 or more years of experience building backend services and distributed systems running in production.
• Strong coding skills in a mainstream backend language, such as Python or Java, and working experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience building with LLMs, including model API integration, retrieval, agents, or evaluation tooling; production experience is a strong plus, and demonstrated personal projects also count.
• Operational maturity, having owned services in production, including monitoring, debugging live issues, and incident response.
• Experience shipping customer-facing product features is preferred.
• Experience in cybersecurity or another regulated or high-trust domain is preferred.

Salary starting from 4500 EUR/month. Annual bonus based on company performance, paid in two installments. The final base salary may be adjusted based on the individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
