Product Design Engineer (UX & AI)

We're looking for a Product Design Engineer to shape how brands and partners experience the Adtraction platform, from research, all the way to production.

Do you love understanding how people actually use a product, turning that into clear flows and designs, and working side by side with developers and designers to get it shipped? Are you excited about how AI is changing the way design becomes working software?

Join our Tech team in Stockholm and become the bridge between UX-design and development.

About Adtraction

Adtraction was founded in 2007, and built on the ambition to create the best possible partnerships between brands and partners. Today, we're a leading partner marketing platform that connects brands with creators and partners to drive traffic, content, and sales, all on a performance-based model.

We're a team of 130 people across 12 offices in Europe, with our headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.

People are at the core of everything we do, and we're always looking for new talent who share our ambition to help brands and partners grow.

At Adtraction, you can always expect more – from your partnerships, your work, and your career.

About the role

As part of our Tech team, you'll combine creativity, collaboration and ambition with a close connection to the business. You'll work closely with developers, product owners and our commercial teams, turning feedback and feature requests into solutions that make the platform better for our clients and partners. Clear communication is at the heart of the role.

As Product Design Engineer, you will own the user experience of our platform for brands and partners, on the web and in our mobile apps. You'll map complete user flows, analyse how users actually behave, and turn it all into well-structured designs in Figma, ready for development and AI implementation. Over time, you'll also take ownership of our design system.

Our developers work with AI agents that turn well-defined tickets into production code, reviewed and merged by the team. What's missing is an equally smooth path for design. A key part of your role is to build that path: structuring our Figma files, components and design tokens so that AI agents can implement design accurately, and setting up the process that takes a design from Figma to production efficiently.

Reporting to: Tech Lead / CTO

What you'll do

• Design interactions and interfaces in Figma, from early sketches to production-ready designs

• Structure and evolve our design system and component library in Figma, keeping it consistent and easy to build from

• Build and own the process for taking design from Figma to production with AI agents

• Analyse user behaviour in Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps, session recordings) and turn findings into concrete improvements

• Map complete user flows and information architecture across our web platform and mobile apps

• Handle feedback and feature requests from our sales and customer success teams and translate them into well-designed solutions

• Work closely with developers and product owners, from framing the problem to reviewing what's shipped

What you bring

• Several years of experience as a UX, product or interaction designer, or as a design-focused engineer, working on digital products

• Expert Figma skills, including well-structured files, components, variants and design tokens

• Experience using behavioural data (e.g. Clarity, Hotjar) to find UX problems and turn insights into design decisions

• Experience designing for mobile apps as well as the web

• Excellent communication skills: you explain your design decisions clearly and enjoy working closely with developers, product owners and commercial teams

• Hands-on experience using AI tools to take design into code, e.g. Claude Code, Figma MCP or similar

• Fluency in Swedish and English

Your profile will be extra interesting if you have:

• Experience with React and how design systems are implemented in code, e.g. Storybook

• Experience designing data-heavy B2B interfaces with tables, filtering and visualisation

• Experience from affiliate marketing, partner marketing or e-commerce

We hire based on experience, knowledge and personality, but also potential. If you're passionate and eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you, also if you don't meet every requirement.

We're looking for

Someone who is curious about users, structured in how they work and generous in sharing what they learn. You take ownership of the user experience, love turning complex problems into simple flows, and enjoy close collaboration in a fast-paced, ever-changing industry.

We're a social company that enjoys spending time together, and we can't wait for you to be part of our vibrant and fun culture!

What we offer

At Adtraction, we believe great people create great results. That's why we focus on creating a workplace where you can thrive, both professionally and personally.

At Adtraction you can expect this (and more):

• A central role with real influence over how our platform looks, works and gets built

• Regular social events and a yearly conference where we all meet, work and celebrate

• Opportunities to grow and develop your skills

• A vibrant office-first culture, with the option to work from home two days a week

• Breakfast everyday, weekly after works and events in office

• An international company with colleagues from 12 offices in Europe

• Working at a company listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market

• A competitive compensation package

• A culture where we embrace relations, create long-term value and always improve

• A company with engaged employees (employee net promoter score of 45)
