As an AWS Gen AI Engineer - Senior Manager, you will lead the development of innovative software solutions within our Technology Consulting practice, focusing on driving digital transformation and enhancing business performance. You will combine technical skills with creative thinking to design, code, and test applications that transform industries and deliver exceptional user experiences. As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your influence, skills, and network to deliver quality results. You will motivate and coach others, solving complex problems and applying sound judgment to recognize when to take action or escalate issues. Your ability to develop and sustain diverse and inclusive teams, along with your commitment to excellence, contributes to the success of our firm.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will focus on strategic advising, influence, and problem-solving. You will craft and convey clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story, apply systems thinking to identify underlying problems, and validate outcomes with clients. You will direct teams through complexity, demonstrating composure in challenging situations, and initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels. Your role will be pivotal in modeling and reinforcing professional and technical standards, contributing to the overall success of our firm.

Responsibilities

- Leading the development and implementation of innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation
- Managing large-scale software engineering projects, confirming timely delivery and quality outcomes
- Designing, coding, and testing applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++
- Overseeing the integration of enterprise applications and confirming seamless functionality across platforms
- Applying systems thinking to identify and address underlying problems and opportunities in software development
- Directing teams through complex and ambiguous situations, maintaining composure and focus
- Validating outcomes with clients and incorporating feedback to enhance software solutions
- Promoting the use of advanced software development methodologies, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Coaching and mentoring team members to develop high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams
- Collaborating with stakeholders to align software solutions with business objectives and client needs

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 12 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Define and drive the generative AI engineering strategy across the organization.

- Lead the architecture of enterprise-scale GenAI applications using Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, and SageMaker.

- Architect advanced RAG pipelines with agentic retrieval, hybrid search, reranking, multi-modal knowledge bases, and session memory support.

- Drive custom ML model development, fine-tuning, and deployment strategies at scale using SageMaker HyperPod, JumpStart, and Unified Studio.

- Define enterprise prompt engineering frameworks; drive cost optimization through Intelligent Prompt Routing, Model Distillation, and prompt caching strategies.

- Architect enterprise multi-agent systems using Bedrock AgentCore with multi-agent collaboration, supervisor orchestration, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations.

- Establish enterprise Bedrock Guardrails governance for responsible AI, content safety, PII protection, Automated Reasoning, and hallucination prevention.

- Drive Bedrock Data Automation and SageMaker Unified Studio adoption for AI/ML data workflows.

- Establish AI/ML governance, responsible AI practices, and model risk management frameworks.

- Lead and build GenAI engineering teams, driving organizational capability and talent development.

- Engage with executive stakeholders to align AI strategy with business objectives.

- Drive innovation through evaluation of emerging AI technologies, new foundation models (including OpenAI on Bedrock), and industry trends.

- Collaborate with product, data science, security, and platform teams for delivery excellence.
