AI Software Engineer Intern
EA Hyderabad
As part of Electronic Arts, we build experiences for players around the world and look for new ways to delight our communities through high-quality game development.
Reporting to the Quality Engineering team and as a Software Engineer AI Intern, you'll work with teams implementing automation scripts. You'll write code, participate in reviews, support automated testing, and help explore practical AI-assisted workflows for test generation and validation. This 6-month internship offers experience with international teams and best practices for producing high-quality code and reliable automation.
Responsibilities
● You will collaborate with the QA team as an embedded SE to support game production teams throughout testing phases.
● Learn and maintain automation frameworks for ongoing features and automation needs within the project.
● You will design, write, and implement automation scripts to improve feature coverage and reduce repetitive manual testing.
Required Qualifications
● Pursuing a degree in Computer Science and coursework or project experience in test automation, AI/ML, data analysis, API testing, or mobile application testing.
● Familiarity with Git, automated build pipelines, logs, telemetry, or test reporting tools.
● Exposure to evaluating AI-generated outputs for correctness, consistency, or practical usefulness.
● Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python, documented through relevant projects or coursework.
Nice to have: Experience with a relational database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle and experience with Linux or Ubuntu
