AI Services Adoption Specialist

Position Summary

The AI Services Adoption Specialist is responsible for leading the evaluation, implementation, governance, and organizational adoption of artificial intelligence technologies across the enterprise. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and end users to identify high-value AI opportunities, implement AI-enabled solutions, and drive successful adoption through training, change management, and ongoing support.

The position develops AI governance standards, supports business process transformation initiatives, and ensures AI technologies are implemented securely, responsibly, and in alignment with organizational objectives.

AI Strategy & Innovation

  • Research, evaluate, and recommend AI tools, platforms, and services that align with business objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value AI use cases across departments and business functions.
  • Conduct business needs assessments and process reviews to identify automation and productivity opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain an AI adoption roadmap and implementation strategy.
  • Stay current on emerging AI technologies, trends, and industry best practices.

AI Implementation & Integration

  • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives, pilot programs, and phased AI deployments.
  • Partner with IT teams to support integration of AI solutions into existing business applications and workflows.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and implementation priorities.
  • Assist with configuration, testing, and rollout of approved AI solutions.
  • Support evaluation of AI vendors, platforms, and service providers.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks, standards, and policies.
  • Establish best practices for responsible AI use, including prompt engineering, data privacy, security, and ethical considerations.
  • Collaborate with Security, Legal, Compliance, and Human Resources teams to ensure appropriate AI controls are maintained.
  • Monitor AI usage and compliance with organizational standards.

Training, Change Management & Adoption

  • Develop and deliver AI training programs for employees and business leaders.
  • Create AI playbooks, user guides, reference materials, and best-practice documentation.
  • Serve as the organization's internal AI subject matter expert.
  • Promote AI literacy and encourage adoption through coaching, demonstrations, and workshops.
  • Support organizational change management activities related to AI initiatives.

Performance Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor AI adoption metrics and business outcomes.
  • Track productivity improvements, cost savings, efficiency gains, and user satisfaction.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and continuously improve AI programs and support services.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership regarding AI program effectiveness.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support special projects related to innovation, automation, and digital transformation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience supporting AI, automation, digital transformation, business process improvement, or technology adoption initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and supporting AI platforms such as ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, or similar technologies.
  • Experience leading training, change management, or organizational adoption initiatives.
  • Experience evaluating technology solutions and developing business cases preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AI-related certifications or coursework preferred.
  • Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Power Automate, Zapier, Make, UiPath, or similar solutions.
  • Experience with AI governance, compliance, security, or risk management initiatives.
  • Consulting or project management experience preferred.

Work Environment & Expectations

Work may be performed in an office environment, hybrid setting, or fully remote depending on business needs. Occasional travel may be required to support training sessions, workshops, client engagements, or company meetings.

Extended hours may occasionally be necessary during major implementation projects or critical rollout activities.
