Full job details

With a 40+ year commitment to delivering breakthrough customer experiences and a culture rooted in trust, integrity, and continuous learning, our award-winning company, Park Square Homes, is looking for an AI Engineer who is as passionate about teaching as they are about technology. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves getting in the weeds — building smart workflows, sitting side-by-side with teammates to show them a better way, and helping an entire company level up with AI.

About This Role: This role is equal parts builder and teacher. You will implement AI tools and automate workflows across our business — then turn around and train every department on how to use them. You will run one-on-one coaching sessions with individual employees, lead department-level AI workshops, and design company-wide training programs. You will be the go-to person when someone asks, “Can AI help with this?” — and the person who then teaches them how. We are not looking for a strategist or an architect. We are looking for a doer and a communicator — someone who can build a workflow in the morning, run a department training at lunch, and troubleshoot a tool for a colleague in the afternoon.

Key Responsibilities:

Training & Development — The Core of This Role

  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with employees across all departments — meet people where they are; build their confidence and capability with AI tools.
  • Lead department-level AI training sessions — Sales, Construction, Finance, Land, HR, Marketing and more — tailored to each team's actual workflows.
  • Design and deliver company-wide AI training programs and workshops — from introductory literacy sessions to advanced automation workshops.
  • Create training materials employees actually use — step-by-step guides, short video tutorials, quick-reference cards, and visual workflow maps.
  • Build and maintain a training calendar — schedule recurring sessions, track participation, and follow up with teams post-training.
  • Assess AI readiness across the organization and develop personalized learning paths for employees at all skill levels.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and curiosity around AI.

AI Tools & Workflow Automation

  • Build and deploy AI-powered workflows and automations for departments across PSH — document generation, reporting, communication drafting, data entry reduction, and approval routing.
  • Integrate AI tools into the systems teams already use — email, project management, CRM, construction software, and HR platforms.
  • Automate repetitive manual tasks so employees can spend time on higher-value work.
  • Write scripts and use APIs to connect tools and extend functionality.
  • Document all workflows and automations in plain language so others can maintain and understand them.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and continuously improve deployed tools.

Hands-On Cross-Functional Support

  • Work directly with department leads and individual contributors to identify pain points and automation opportunities.
  • Serve as the company's go-to resource for day-to-day AI questions and troubleshooting.
  • Provide ongoing support for employees using AI tools — not just at launch, but over time.
  • Identify which emerging AI tools are worth evaluating and set up low-risk pilots before broader rollout.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves

  • A genuine passion for AI and an enthusiasm for staying current on new tools — this should feel like a hobby, not just a job requirement.
  • A love of teaching and helping people — you get energy from the moment a colleague finally “gets it.”
  • Hands-on experience with Copilot, Cowork, Claude, Power Automate, n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience building AI agents and AI-powered solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, or similar AI development platforms.
  • Experience consuming and integrating LLMs / foundation models such as OpenAI GPT models, Claude, Gemini, or similar models within AI agents and business applications.
  • Programming knowledge in Python, JavaScript, .NET, Semantic Kernel SDK, and SQL Server, with comfort in APIs, scripting, and automation development.
  • Strong communication skills — you can explain a technical concept to a non-technical audience without losing them.
  • Experience creating training materials, guides, or tutorials.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working across multiple departments simultaneously.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in a training, enablement, or instructional design role.
  • Background in homebuilding, construction, or real estate.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation platforms and system integrations.
  • Experience with data visualization or reporting tools.

Education

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is not required. We care far more about what you've built and how well you teach than where you went to school.

Skills & Competencies

  • Demonstrated ability to build, deploy, and iterate on AI-powered workflows and automations that solve real business problems — not just proof-of-concepts, but tools people actually use every day.
  • Exceptional communication and instructional skills, with the ability to break down complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences at every level of the organization — from frontline employees to senior leadership.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for teaching and enablement — the kind of person who finds as much satisfaction in a successful training session as in shipping a new automation.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust quickly across departments, understand their unique workflows, and earn the credibility to recommend and implement change.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a bias toward action — always testing, always learning, always looking for the next opportunity to improve how Park Square Homes operates.
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize competing demands, and deliver consistently without close supervision.
  • A practical, user-first mindset — you design tools and training programs for the people who will actually use them, not to showcase technical sophistication.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-moving technology landscapes — the AI space changes quickly, and you thrive in environments where adaptability and learning agility are essential.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent use of a computer and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to conduct in-person training sessions across departments and offices.
  • Occasional travel between PSH office locations as needed for on-site training.
