About the Role
This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
Are you passionate about revolutionizing how enterprises make decisions using artificial intelligence? Do you envision a future where AI workflows transform entire business operations across industries? Then come help us shape the future of enterprise decision-making at AWS.
AWS is seeking an experienced Business Developer to help us establish AWS as the market leader for AI-driven Decision Intelligence capabilities, beginning with Supply Chain and expanding into adjacent domains. This strategic initiative represents one of AWS's key investments in applied AI for enterprise transformation. With a robust and ever-growing product roadmap, the Business Developer must combine enterprise sales experience with strong understanding of AI/ML applications in business contexts.
The ideal candidate should be capable of engaging at the C-suite level to drive strategic transformation initiatives while also collaborating with technical stakeholders to ensure successful implementation. You will lead strategic customer advisory relationships, develop and execute account strategies for Fortune 500 companies, and help shape our product roadmap based on customer feedback. This role requires excellence in executive communication, strong understanding of enterprise decision-making processes, and proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
Internally, you'll be the voice of the customer working directly with AWS product teams, while also leading the creation of thought leadership content that defines how AWS communicates its technology to customers. Your influence will extend to company-wide impact, driving transformative solutions at scale.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic go-to-market approaches, targeting specific domains and customer segments
- Engage with executive leadership to understand complex business challenges and propose innovative cloud solutions
- Serve as the primary business specialist for customer services within your assigned territory
- Craft compelling value propositions that directly address customer needs and demonstrate AWS's unique capabilities
- Collaborate with global system integrators to deliver transformative customer projects
