About the role

We are looking for a senior engineer who can help assess, stabilize, and harden a fast-moving construction management platform built with heavy use of AI/agentic development workflows. This is not a traditional QA role. The ideal candidate is an AI-first full-stack engineer who uses automation, testing frameworks, CI/CD, observability, and agent-assisted workflows to improve product quality and release confidence.

What You’ll Do

• Pair directly with the founder to understand the platform, codebase, agentic development process, and intended product behavior.

• Review AI/agent-generated code for modularity, maintainability, hidden fragility, silent failures, and poor integration boundaries.

• Build automated test coverage around high-risk workflows, cross-portal user journeys, permissions, integrations, data persistence, and API failure modes.

• Implement Playwright/API-level test automation, test data setup, CI checks, and failure artifacts such as traces, screenshots, and logs.

• Improve dev/staging environment practices, CI/CD workflows, release checks, and monitoring feedback loops.

• Use AI tools to accelerate test creation, bug reproduction, code review, and remediation while maintaining engineering discipline.

• Create a prioritized backlog of technical hardening, test expansion, refactoring, and automation opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Experience

• Senior full-stack engineering experience with modern web platforms, ideally Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase/Postgres, and GitHub-based delivery.

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright or similar automated testing frameworks.

• Experience using Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or other agentic/AI-assisted development tools in real delivery workflows.

• Strong CI/CD, observability, and release-quality mindset.

• Ability to identify silent failure paths, brittle agent-generated code, weak modularity, and missing testability hooks.
  
  Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Swift/Kotlin mobile apps, mobile test automation, Sentry/PostHog construction/workflow-heavy SaaS products.
