Qualifications you’ll bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (or equivalent experience in a technology role)
  • The availability to work full-time, hybrid, four days in office per week in Schenectady, NY
  • 2+ years of experience in software development, design and engineering, with at least 1 year focused on AI/ML. 1+ years of experience in cloud computing technologies with Azure experience preferred.
  • Object-oriented programming and design patterns experience. Building scalable, maintainable, and secure applications. Proficiency in Python, and ML frameworks, plus strong experience in one or more languages such as Java or C#.
  • Understanding of NLP, computer vision, and predictive/generative AI modeling. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Your key responsibilities: 

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions focused on AI. Implement best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with architects to ensure robust system design. Stay current on AI trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI tools, frameworks, and cloud-native technologies. Deploy models using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Implement MLOps practices for model monitoring and lifecycle management.
  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning (ML) and deep learning models for production environments. Implement data pipelines, feature engineering, and model optimization for scalability and performance.
  • Integrate AI models into applications using APIs, SDKs, and microservices architectures.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for AI models.
  • Develop interaction flows for AI-powered interfaces (e.g., conversational agents, recommendation systems).
  • Ensure AI systems adhere to ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to AI model bias, data privacy, and system reliability. Be an advocate for AI at MVP literacy through training programs and mentorship of the MVP community.
  • Contribute to our humble pursuit of excellence by performing various responsibilities that may arise, reflecting our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer. 

Where you’ll be: 

Hybrid – 4x/week in-office, 1 day remote (Schenectady, NY)

MVP Health Care is committed to providing competitive employee compensation and benefits packages. The base pay range provided for this role reflects our good faith compensation estimate at the time of posting. MVP adheres to pay transparency nondiscrimination principles. Specific employment offers and associated compensation will be extended individually based on several factors, including but not limited to geographic location; relevant experience, education, and training; and the nature of and demand for the role.
