AI Growth Engineer

Type: Full-Time, with 30% mostly domestic travel

About the Role

We’re searching for AI Growth Engineers who are technical, energetic, and community-minded and ready to help tell our story, grow our open source movement, and represent us with real developer credibility. 

What You’ll Do

• Drive viral developer-first social content. Collaborate with your team to ideate, create, and ship technical content across X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Reddit that developers actually want to engage with and that spark an expanding network effect and viral growth. 

• Fully leverage AI tools, agents and workflows (OpenClaw, CrewAI, etc.) to automate campaigns, generate content, uncover new growth loops and multiply yourself by enabling things you couldn’t do before. 

• Grow top of funnel. Design and run creative digital experiments that turn awareness into community engagement, usage, and signups from the right developer audiences. 

• Contribute to our podcast. Help to plan, schedule and track the program, perform guest research and outreach, recording and production, and repurposing each episode into clips, blog posts, and social content. 

• Build amazing apps. Use RocketRide to create compelling AI solutions that are hosted on the RocketRide app store, that drive organic user traction to our cloud. 

• Deliver on goals. Knock the company KPIs out of the park. Define and track clear success metrics for your team, share what you learn, and iterate quickly based on results to stay aligned with company objectives. 

What You Bring

• Up to ~2 years of hands-on software experience (internships, projects, or open source). You can read and write solid code, build and run demos, contribute to repos, and credibly engage with developers at a technical level. 

• You have public contributions (a GitHub project, personal site, plugin, or content) that you’re proud to show us. 

• You are fluent with modern AI tools and love pushing them in creative ways for storytelling, automation, or content generation. 

• You’re comfortable speaking on camera, in livestreams, and in front of live audiences. 

• You’re naturally curious, organized, self-managed, and serious about following through on deliverables. 

• You love multitasking across tech, community, content, and marketing — and want to grow into a role that touches all of them. 

• You’re able to work from our San Francisco office regularly at least 3 days/week, as part of our hybrid team. 

Bonus Points

• Video editing and post-production skills (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, or similar). 

• Social media management experience, including scheduling, analytics, and community engagement across platforms.
